Three visionary directors (Michel Gondry, Leos Carax and Bong Joon-ho) and my favorite city. This has got to be good.

Amazing photo works by Jakub Wojewoda. I am especially fond of the first “black & white” portraiture, you might have to look a little more closely for the “white” on first glance though.

  • Water drips, leaves fall: Todoroki, Tokyo November 30, 2009
This was up at the shrine in Todoroki, we were at the end of our walk and enjoying the last of the day's light and sunshine. The shrine is up on a hill and this fountain was set against a background of treetops, with leaves of every hue. Goof moment for the 50mm f/1.2 to come out of the bag. I am always honored by the fact that you stop by, regularly or occasionally, and for your thoughts, input, questions and critiques. It, for me, [...]

  • SITE MOVE. July 18, 2009
I'm torn to say that To Darrin Hudson will be shutting down.I've made the decision to move everything to a centralized www.stapledesign.com website. The new Staple Design website will encompass my blog, my Twitter Feed, the Design Studio, the Clothing Collection, Reed Space, Reed Pages...basically the whole Staple Universe! So while I have loved To […]

  • THE HUNDREDS x DELOREAN MOTOR COMPANY pt. VI November 30, 2009
My time at DeLorean’s headquarters in Humble, Texas was well served. Not only in terms of familiarizing myself with DMC, but also getting to know the smalltown operation of a globally-recognized exotic sportscar.  The intrigue for me is that a sexy automobile that had once embodied all of the glory and decadence of the high-life, [...]
