Interesting documentary about the beginnings of the subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop & graffiti which gradually became a movement that has been transforming pop culture. Featuring some of the artists who are considered leaders within this culture. Love the tagline “Make something out of nothing” and the beautiful graffiti styled butterfly poster.

A video documenting the creative collaboration Chase Jarvis and Superfad on a campaign for the Kung Fu HD Network. Watch how they use the elemental prowess of water, wind and fire for the amazing effects. Motion was captured with the Phantom HD camera and stills were shot with the Hasselblad H2D.

OMG! The dancing stormtrooper in Tokyo is actually Danny Choo who is actually Jimmy Choo’s son. Though oozing full of otaku-ness, this video was kinda inspiring. Haha had a good laugh.

An interview with Martha Cooper, a photographer who documented the urban arts scene of New York in the 70’s & 80’s. Hip hop & graffiti is a really interesting subject especially when viewed retrospectively.
