“Air Lines is an art project showing worldwide airliner routes. Every single scheduled flight on any given day is reresented by a fine line from it’s point of origin to it’s port of destination. Thereby forming a net of thousands of lines. Hubs like JFK, FRA or DXB turn into dark knots where lines meet, lesser served local services are only are a subtle hint.”

Yes, literally air lines and if you really like this you can get a piece for $38.

Creepy but fascinating illustration/artworks by Alexandros Vasmoulakis. The amazing thing about his works is that he paints anything from woodpieces to the entire sidewall of buildings.

Wonderful conceptual work by artist Levi van Veluw constituting of beautiful landscapes composited to his own self potraiture evoking a magnificent feeling of the fascinating connection between human and nature. You could also find this marvelous video and his other previous projects which is just as amazing at his site

Interesting documentary about the beginnings of the subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop & graffiti which gradually became a movement that has been transforming pop culture. Featuring some of the artists who are considered leaders within this culture. Love the tagline “Make something out of nothing” and the beautiful graffiti styled butterfly poster.

What looks like splotches of ink and paints is actually some amazing artwork done by the artist Russ Mills. Nice textures with and great execution of the concept. As of all good artworks this come with patience, perseverence, discipline & commitment.

Previously we had Alan who does some amazing light photography with refracted lights, today we have the duo behind LAPP Jan Wöllert and Jörd Miedza doing some real amazing long exposure photography with perfectly choreographed lightings. Have a look at their wonderful gallery here.
